PRINCETON, Texas (KWTX/Gray News) - The Amber Alert issued by police in Princeton, Texas, for a 14-year-old girl was canceled, according to authorities.

The Princeton Police Department said the teen girl was located Wednesday at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Plano, Texas.

Investigators are working with the teen to determine her recent whereabouts and activities.

The teenager reportedly left her home voluntarily, but she was entered into the statewide Amber Alert system on Tuesday “due to the criteria and nature of this case.”

Police did not provide an update Wednesday on the location of a 34-year-old man who was initially identified as a suspect.
