Nicole Hutchison

Nicole Hutchison was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She grew up in a home where sports were an important part of everyone’s life. She is the daughter of NFL Chicago Bears running back, Anthony Hutchison, who involved her in soccer, tennis, track, karate and a variety of other sports.

As a full time student at Howard University, Nicole also held the position as team caption.

Along with being a full time student athlete, she was involved in other areas of campus life including writing for the school newspaper, filming for football, working with the SID, reporter for Spotlight News Service, reporter for all Howard University sports, NBC’s adopt a team representative for Howard and ESPNU’s Campus Reporter.

Aside from campus involvement, Nicole was an on-air host for SB Nation’s Ril’ed Up Podcast covering the Washington Redskins, NBA Pro Summer League reporter, former NBC Sports Digital Media Intern in Washington, D.C., Monumental Sports Production Coordinator, Mystics Reporter, NBC Sports Group Intern, Big Ten Network Production Intern, Washington Redskins Game Day Intern and reporter for HBCU Gameday and a former web writer for Paper City Magazine in Houston, Texas.

Nicole also has her own talk show, Hutch in the Clutch Sports Talk, covering HBCU sports and phone interviews with professional athletes and top college athletes.

After graduation, Nicole worked with MLB Network as a Broadcast Associate and Logger. She is excited to be a part of the KALB News Channel 5 team, and hopes she can bring her best to the table.
