Morning/Noon Forecaster & Anchor
Tyler Hall has been with KALB since 2017 after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Journalism Arts at Lyndon State College in Lyndonville Vermont with an added emphasis in Meteorology.
Tyler graduated in May of 2017, and began working at KALB in August of that year.
In January of 2018, he continued his education, pursuing an Online Meteorology Certificate through Penn State. In April 2019, he completed his certification, giving him the title of forecaster.
Growing up he always had an interest in weather, which soon would turn into a passion. He had always been fascinated with snowstorms and hurricanes, and having the opportunity to discuss and track them for KALB is something he’s very excited about!
When he’s not forecasting, you can find Tyler in the gym, walking, playing golf, hiking or playing tennis. Tyler has been playing tennis since 2006. He played competitively in high school and in college. This past year, he held the top spot on the Men's Collegiate Roster for Tennis.
Moving down to Louisiana from New England was quite the adventure and change but Tyler is very much looking forward to exploring and seeing what Central Louisiana and the Bayou State has to offer!
