3 arrested for armed robbery, kidnapping in Pineville

PINEVILLE, La. (RPSO) - RPSO responded to Lions Club Road in Pineville on April 7, in reference to an armed robbery and kidnapping.

According to witnesses, three suspects later identified as Christopher Dean Perkins, 31 of Pineville, Nicole Lee Hayes, 23 of Pineville and John Jacob Wooley, 27 of Jena, went to the initial victim’s residence unannounced.

The suspects forced a victim into a vehicle at gunpoint and drove them to another location. A second victim was then contacted. Both victims were held at gunpoint as the suspects stole their valuables.

Detectives found enough evidence to arrest the suspects for armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping.

Perkins and Hayes were found on April 15 and taken into custody. Perkins also had a concealed pistol during his arrest. He was also re-arrested on April 18 for possession of CDS II with intent to distribute and illegal carrying of a weapon with drugs. He is currently being detained at the Parish Jail in lieu of posting a $120,000 bond, as is Hayes, in lieu of posting a $100,000 bond.

Wooley was also found on April 18, hiding at a family member’s residence in Alexandria. Following a brief struggle, Wooley was taken into custody without further incident. He was later booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center in reference to his warrants. Wooley is currently being detained at the Parish Jail in lieu of posting a $100,000 bond.
