Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested 3 people in connection with the burglary of a south Natchitoches Parish business.

Kwenton Al Andre Dudley, 20, Trevious Blackman, 17, and Kylar L. Beard, 17, have been charged with simple burglary.

Early Wednesday morning January 3 at approximately 1:38am, Deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division and Louisiana State Police responded to a commercial burglary alarm at 3 J’s Four-Way Grocery/Cypress Knee Outdoors in the 11000 block of La. Hwy 1 at Cypress, La.

NPSO Deputies arrived on scene within 3 minutes of the initial dispatch call.

Deputies said upon their arrival, they discovered forced entry had been gained into the business through a broken front door glass.

Deputies and store management began reviewing security tape learning the suspects were targeting and attempting to steal firearms, but were frightened at the sound of the alarm and fled the store leaving the area on the back side of the business and then traveled west on La. Hwy 120 according to Chief Investigator Greg Dunn.

All three suspects have been booked into the Natchitoches Detention Center and are awaiting bond.
