TALLULAH, La. (AP) - A group of seven inmates who escaped from a northeastern Louisiana jail have been successfully captured and are back behind bars.
Originally, these seven inmates had escaped from the Madison Parish Correctional Center on Wednesday. However, three of them were caught quickly.
Louisiana State Police said its officers helped local deputies search for the remaining four: Joshua Lewis, 24, Earl Hollins, 23, Devario R. Turner, 35, and Leedarius Rogers, 24.
KNOE-TV reported that the jail is operated by a company called LaSalle Corrections and nearby Madison Parish High School was on lockdown during the search for these escaped inmates.
