For many Cenla families, Christmas comes as a sacrifice as parents try to find a way to make ends meet.

For this very reason, organizations like the New Life Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) in Leesville see the holiday season as an opportunity to help out.

Saturday morning, the center held its third annual toy giveaway. The New Life CPC gave each child one toy to help put a smile on the children's face this holiday season.

"Christmas is about the most precious gift ever," Latasha Thomas, the New Life CPC director said. "It's a stressful time, but we just want people to know that love is the most important thing their children need."

For more information about the New Life CPC visit the center at 302 West Courthouse St. Leesville, or call 337-239-9863.
