APSO seeking suspect wanted in ATV theft investigation

MARKSVILLE, La. (APSO) - The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking a suspect wanted in connection with an ATV theft investigation.

According to APSO, three individuals entered a residential property in Marksville on May 28 around 12:15 a.m. The suspects allegedly used a golf cart on the property to ride around, pulling on the residence doors and entered a pool house and a shed.

Police say the suspects then stole a Honda four-wheel ATV from the shed, rode it to a nearby business, then attempted to steal a Polaris ATV.

Through tips from the business owner, APSO and the community, the suspects were identified as Jaylen Price, 18, of Alexandria, Tyrese Tucker, 18, of Pineville, and a 17-year-old female juvenile.

The juvenile was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, criminal trespassing and criminal conspiracy.

Tyrese Tucker was arrested for criminal conspiracy, theft of a motor vehicle and criminal trespassing, and booked into the Rapides Parish Jail, awaiting transfer to Detention Center 1 in Marksville.

Jaylen Price is currently wanted on warrants for theft of a motor vehicle, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, criminal conspiracy and criminal trespassing.

Price’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Anyone with information about Jaylen Price’s location is asked to contact the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-253-4081.
