All aboard the KCS Holiday Express Train!

The holidays have officially rolled into Cenla! Quite literally in fact.

The Kansas City Southern’s Holiday Express Train was in Pineville yet again on Monday evening.

The holiday-themed train made its second stop in two years to our area. It usually rolls into town every four years.

“You know, it kicks off the holiday season here, the Christmas season,” said Doug Gann, Pineville’s Director of Downtown Development. “We had our fifth Saturday market on Saturday, we've got this, and then the Christmas parade is coming up on December 13. So Christmas in Cenla, Christmas here in Pineville, is off to a great start!”

The train remained by Louisiana College's baseball field until about 8 p.m.
