The Grant High School Maroon Knights also ran alongside GPSO to support the fundraiser.

The money that is raised will go towards the annual Louisiana Summer Games that will begin on May 24. The Olympics will be held until May 26 on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.

The State Law Enforcement Torch Run will be held Wednesday, May 22, starting at 10:30 a.m. The run will begin at the Pineville City Marshals Office and will end at the Rapides Parish Court House. The run is open to the public.
