As everyone prepares for Barry's landfall, the Avoyelles Sheriff's Office wants everyone to be aware of the potential aftermath.

Our 911 Center is geared up, they've got people on standby, the generators all checked and everything, all of our emergency vehicles are serviced and ready to go."

Here’s a list of sandbag locations for Avoyelles Parish: (Starting Thursday morning 8 am - 4 pm)
• Bunkie City Barn
• Mansura Maintenance Facility
