Travon Lewis, 18, was trying to get his more than $500,000 bond reduced to $10,000, but it was denied by Judge Greg Beard.

Lewis was a passenger in a vehicle with his two brothers when one of them got pulled over for a traffic violation by a trooper. When the driver got out to talk to police, Lewis allegedly slid into the driver's seat and took off on a high-speed chase that ended near Bolton Avenue with four troopers getting injured in a crash.

Lewis was charged with aggravated flight from an officer, aggravated assault, and aggravated second-degree battery.
