Bossier City Police Officer arrested on animal sexual abuse charges

BOSSIER CITY, La. (LSP) - On Wednesday, a Bossier City officer turned himself in on animal sexual abuse charges.

Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation in August, which resulted in a search warrant being obtained for electronic devices belonging to a Bossier City Police Officer.

During the search, evidence indicating possession of pornography involving sexual acts with an animal was found on devices belonging to Terry Yetman, 38, of Bossier City.

Yetman voluntarily surrendered upon learning warrants had been issued for his arrest. He was booked at the Bossier Max Correctional Center and charged with twenty counts of sexual abuse of animals by performing sexual acts with an animal and twenty counts of sexual abuse of animals by filming sexual acts with an animal.

Bond has been set at $ 350,000. The investigation is ongoing with additional charges possible.
