CLTCC names new campus dean to head Alexandria Downtown campus
Lisa Doney has been named Campus Dean for the Alexandria Campus of the Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC), announced Chancellor James Sawtelle. Her appointment began this month and is ahead of the school’s move to its new downtown campus.
“We would like to extend a warm CLTCC welcome to Ms. Doney as she returns back to central Louisiana, especially as we near the completion of the new downtown campus,” said Sawtelle. Doney, who has served as a primary leader of West Georgia Technical College in Villa Rica, Ga., since 2006, previously served as a Student Affairs Dean at CLTCC’s Natchitoches Campus. During her tenure, she served in several leadership positions within CLTCC and Northwest Louisiana Technical College. She is also a graduate of Northwestern State University where she earned a Masters Degree in Student Personnel Services.
“As much as I have enjoyed working in Georgia the past 12 years, it’s great to be back home in central Louisiana. I am very excited to be joining the Central Louisiana Technical Community College team, and I look forward to working with area business and community leaders, the CLTCC leadership, and most importantly, the students which we serve,” Doney said.
Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) is a two-year technical and community college offering associate degrees, technical diplomas, industry certificates, and customized training in more than 20 disciplines to support local workforce development and prepare students for good-paying jobs.
