NATCHITOCHES, La. (LSP) - A Colfax man was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred on LA HWY 6 on Thursday.
Edward B. Goff, 56, was traveling westbound on LA HWY 6 near Clarence when he lost control of his truck and crossed over into the eastbound lane. Goff sideswiped one vehicle being driven by Ricky J. Thibodeaux, 46, of Pineville and then collided head-on with another vehicle driven by Dewayne T. Amburn, 46, of Calhoun.
Goff was wearing his seatbelt, but was pronounced dead at the scene. Thibodeaux and Amburn were also wearing their seatbelts, but sustained only moderate injuries and were transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Routine toxicology tests are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
