ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - One of Central Louisiana's favorite annual events was back again as the Alexandria Museum of Art hosted Craft Brews, BBQ and Blues.
Returning champ, Cowboy Chef, came back to defend his mouth-watering title.
Musicians entertained while attendees chose their favorite drinks and dishes. There were 12 breweries in attendance competing with 40 beers to try.
It's a fundraiser for the museum and coordinators tell us it was a major success. But, the real purpose is to serve the public.
"We want people to vote with their dollars, because we do have to raise all of our funds through grants, donations, memberships," said AMOA Executive Director Catherine Pears. "So, the support that we get from this event is important."
They said they're humbled by the turn out that grows every year.
