A one-time employee of U.S. Youth Services, formerly Red River Academy, has pleaded guilty to the amended charge of obscenity (2nd offense) for criminal sexual conduct involving a student.
In July 2016, Rapides Parish deputies responded to the school and developed sufficient probable cause that supported the initial allegations of the victim.
Michael Guy, who was 23 at the time, was taken into custody without incident and arrested for one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On Monday, he pleaded guilty to the amended charge. He was sentenced to three years of hard labor by Judge Mary Doggett, but she suspended the sentence and gave him supervised probation for three years.
He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and court costs.
