A deputy’s SUV was struck Wednesday morning by a driver who reportedly ran a red light.

According to a Facebook post by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of N. Sherwood Forest Boulevard and S. Choctaw Drive on April 29.

Injuries are non-life-threatening, a spokesperson for EBRSO says.
