UPDATE: EPSO says missing person found

VILLE PLATTE, La. (EPSO) - UPDATE as of November 9: EPSO received a call on November 7 that Dauphine had been located. Investigators spoke with her on November 8 and asked her to report to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office in person to close the investigation. Dauphine came to EPSO on Friday, November 9. She was briefly questioned and released. She appeared safe and unharmed.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public's assistance in locating a missing person.

On Friday, November 02, a report came in that Annette Kay Dauphine, 36, left the caller's residence on Saturday night, October 27, on Peachtree Lane. The reporting person stated his girlfriend left to go to a family's residence in St. Martinville and made it safely. The following day, October 28, Dauphine was to go to her aunt’s residence in Jeanerette, but never arrived.

Annette Kay Dauphine was last seen wearing a purple LSU sweater and blue shorts.
