EPSO seeking suspects wanted in armed robbery investigation

VILLE PLATTE, La. (Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office) - Authorities have detained two suspects and are looking for two more in connection with an armed robbery in Evangeline Parish.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a home invasion in the 400 block of Sue Street in Ville Platte on July 11.

Three male suspects allegedly held the victim at gunpoint in his home while a fourth male suspect waited in a vehicle. The victim said the suspects took several items from his home. They then allegedly forced the victim and his daughter to enter his personal vehicle to retrieve money at an ATM.

When the suspects found that the victim had no money in the ATM, they proceeded to Abraham Avenue where they exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Tron Jack, 17, and Jaylon Thomas, 17, were identified and detained, then transported to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Jail pending charges.

EPSO is still seeking Dalonzo Alfred, 19, and Quanisky Mouton, 17, in connection with the armed robbery. They are considered armed and dangerous.
