ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A new restaurant is finally moving into the old Copeland's Brass Pearl.

The spot will now be all about seafood. Over the weekend a sign for the Fiery Crab was posted out front.

The Fiery Crab is a chain that can be found across the state. It's website lists that they are a juicy seafood restaurant and bar that specializes in country low boil seafood, using family recipes.

The new Alexandria store is opening along with new locations in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. No word yet on when it will open.

The restaurant joins other new businesses set to open soon in Alexandria, including Fat Pat's on Texas Avenue and chicken Salad Chick off of MacArthur Drive.

Copeland's closed last November after a tornado came through Rapides Parish.
