GPSO arrests Rapides Parish men on drug charges

GRANT PARISH, La. (GPSO) - The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a person sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot smoking what appeared to be illegal drugs.

When Deputy Robert Jordan and his K-9 partner, Spec, arrived, they located two people along with methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, marijuana and a pistol.

Marvin Love, 43, of Alexandria, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal carrying of a firearm with drugs.

Ashton Woodruff, 22, of Pineville, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal carrying of a firearm with drugs.
