Henderson man arrested on narcotics charges
A Henderson man was arrested Thursday on several narcotics charges.
Narcotics Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation at a residence in Henderson on November 14. Upon making contact with the occupants, agents obtained consent to search the residence.
During the search, agents located suspected methamphetamine, several different types of controlled and non-controlled prescription medications, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Gary Gibson, 65, of Henderson, La., was placed under arrest and charged with possession of schedule I CDS (marijuana), possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine), possession of schedule IV CDS (alprazolam), possession of legend drug (8 counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following Gibson's arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. No bond has been set at this time.
