Sheriff Craft and the employees of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office, as well as Chief Greg Hill and the Leesville Police Department, would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Blue Forever, Inc.

Blue Forever, Inc. was started by Kellie Abbott from Haughton, Louisiana.

Kellie was a high school student when she learned of the 2010 death of Shreveport Police Sergeant Tim Prunty.

Kellie decided that she wanted to make a difference because she believed the life of Sergeant Prunty could have been saved. Kellie designed and sold a blue customized t-shirt to raise funds to purchase QuickClot kits which she distributed to law enforcement agencies.

Blue Forever, Inc. has partnered with Mr. Doug Boulware, President of Priorty Management Services, LLC. (Woodlands Healthcare ~ Leesville) to donate 35 QuickClot Trauma Kits to the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office and the Leesville Police Department.

Each QuickClot kit contains QuikClot Combat Gauze® LE which is a 3-inch x 4-yard strip of z-folded soft, white, nonwoven, hydrophilic gauze impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that is both safe and effective in accelerating the body’s natural clotting cascade without any exothermic reactions or use of animal or human proteins.

To date, Blue Forever has raised almost $200,000 and donated 2511 QuikClot Belt Trauma Kits to 62 different police agencies in the states of Alabama, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Tennessee.

Blue Forever, Inc.'s motto is "So that everyone has the best chance to come home".
