Home and Product Show 'chair-ity' benefits homeless veterans in Cenla

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Coliseum was packed this weekend with everything a homeowner could need for the annual Home and Product Show.

The Cenla Realtors Association set up a silent auction 'chair-ity' for the first time, making 30 chairs with love.

Money raised will go towards helping homeless veterans right here in Central Louisiana.

They have chairs of all shapes and sizes to fit adults and kids. The Association's President Marsha McGraw- Barbera said the whole team had fun with it.

"I challenged all of our members and affiliates to find a chair and repurpose it, paint it, decoupage it, paint it, fluff it, stuff it," McGraw said. "Whatever they could do and all of the proceeds go to our charity this year."

The auction ended Saturday, but you can still catch the home show from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
