Leesville Police: Woman missing since Mother's Day is safe

UPDATE: Shelby Johnson Simmons is

no longer

a missing person. According to the Leesville Police Department, she came into their station on Tuesday with her mother to speak with an officer.

LPD appreciates the public's assistance in sharing this post and helping aid in our efforts to locate her.


Original Details:

The Leesville Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a local mother who has been reported missing.

Shelby Ann Johnson Simmons has not been seen or heard from since Mother’s Day.

She was last seen with Corey Simmons in a navy blue PT Cruiser without hubcaps covering the face of the rims. The back window glass is broken out. It may be covered with a plastic garbage bag.

Shelby is described as:

• Height: 5′2″

• Weight: 105

• Hair color: Reddish Brown

• Eye Color: Hazel

• Age: 24

Shelby has three children, whom the family says she hasn’t contacted since her disappearance, which is worrisome.
