A New Orleans man was arrested after reportedly threatening a man with a sword in the French Quarter.

Louisiana State Police arrested Travis Fisher, 42, on an aggravated assault charge over the weekend.

According to a Facebook post, while on patrols Saturday night troopers heard screaming in the 600 block of Royal Street. They reportedly found Fisher with a sword "raised in an aggressive manner" at another man.

Troopers ordered him to drop the sword and he was taken into custody.
