HARVEY, La. (AP) - Authorities said a Louisiana man accused of shooting his friend in the parking lot of Boomtown Casino has been arrested.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reported Tuesday that Micarious Mack, 31, is accused in the April shooting outside Boomtown Casino in Harvey.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Jason Rivarde said the 30-year-old victim had been gambling when he went outside to meet a friend. At some point, the friend pulled out a gun and the man was shot in the leg.
Mack was taken into custody in Atlanta and extradited to the parish July 2nd. An arrest report said that he was charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery.
It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
