The National Weather Service has released a graphic showing the potential damage swath for last night's storms. They say they have several reports of tornado damage along an area that extends from San Augustine County, Texas, to Union Parish, Louisiana.

You can see the swath in the attached graphic.

As Troopers evaluate the damage in the Ruston area, please avoid unnecessary travel and stay informed with weather alerts for your area. Treat all downed power lines as if they were energized. In the event a traffic control signal [red light] is not working, treat the intersection as you would a stop sign. Please call *LSP [577] or 911 in the event of an emergency.
