Sheriff McCain selected to participate in National Sheriff's Institute
Grant Parish Sheriff Steven McCain was 1 of 29 sheriffs in the United States that was recently selected to participate in the National Sheriff’s Institute.
The National Sheriff’s Institute is the only national executive development program designed for sheriffs. This no-cost program is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Corrections and the National Sheriff’s Association and is funded by the Department of Justice.
The Institute focuses on contemporary challenges facing America’s sheriffs today.
Hilary Burgess, National Sheriff’s Association Manager of Training, said, “Sheriff McCain is a leader with vision for Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office. It is an honor to have Sheriff McCain join the ranks of graduates from the National Sheriff’s Institute.”
