Stores like Super 1 Foods said they have had an increase of shoppers for the last couple of days.
Because this isn't the first time for a potential storm threat, Store Director Jon Brister said the store was ready for the influx of business.
"We've been through this situation before,” Brister said. “Our companies very well prepared, we're very well mobilized, we have truckloads of water coming in, extra canned meat, batteries, things like that.”
Brister also added that the store will remain open for normal business hours as long as it's safe for employees.
