The homegrown music festival is a weekend filled with all sorts of classical and chamber music. It's produced by local non-profit CreativeSurge and sponsored by local businesses like Neblett, Beard, and Arsenault and Sylvan Learning Center to name a couple.
On Saturday, the festival will hold a special tribute to prominent local community member and business owner Brent Caplan, who passed away last year. His cousin, Stephen Caplan, along with others, will be performing as part of the tribute.
"Brent left us physically from this Earth way too early, but…his spirit still is very much with all of us,” said Stephen Caplan. “So, I think it's going to be very meaningful just to have the group of people there that loved him so much together and sharing a musical experience. Brent loved all kinds of music."
