ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - People around the country are paying their respects to police officers and law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Alexandria officers Josh Daigre (Cpl.), Matt Delaney (Cpl.), Blake Butler (Cpl.), and Stephen Bankston (Sgt.) are in D.C. to honor the lives of the 163 who died in the line of duty last year.

•Reserve Officer Christopher Michael Lawton

Cause of Death: Vehicular assault

•Corporal Shane Michael Totty

The annual memorial service to remember fallen officers will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in front of the Rapides Parish Courthouse.
