VPSO announces 8 recent arrests

VERNON PARISH, La. (VPSO) - Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the following eight arrests within the parish.

Kayla Ann Petta, 34, of Anacoco, was arrested following a traffic stop in Simpson. She was charged with one count of driving on roadway laned for traffic and one count of possession of meth. Bond was set at $15,635. She remains in the VPSO jail.

Donna Alexander, 36, of Leesville, was arrested on four outstanding bench warrants. Bond has not been set and she remains in the VPSO jail.

Taurus Capri Prater, 43, of DeRidder, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to pay probation fines and fees. Prater must pay $2,209 or serve 12 months in the parish jail. He remains in the VPSO jail.

Isiah Robinson, 59, of Leesville, was arrested on two counts of obscenity and one count of criminal trespass. Bond was set at $25,500. He remains in the VPSO jail.

Hope Marie Martin, 41, of Berwick, was arrested on four outstanding bench warrants for failure to pay probation fines and fees. Martin must pay $1,945.50 or serve 6 months in the VPSO jail. She remains in the VPSO jail.

Joseph Roman Martin, 35, of Simpson, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic abuse battery. Bond was set at $15,000. He posted bond and was released.

Franklin Delano Garmon, Jr., 55, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated domestic abuse battery. Bond was set at $10,000. He remains in the VPSO jail.

Jason P. Runge, 41, of DeRidder, was arrested following a traffic stop on Hwy 10. He was charged with one count of possession of meth and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $16,561. He remains in the VPSO jail.
