VPSO arrests man wearing clown mask, holding gun inside car

The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a DeRidder man for wearing a clown mask and holding a gun inside of a car, allegedly brandishing it at other drivers.

Deputies say they were contacted by Rosepine Police around 6:30 p.m. Saturday after that department received complaints from several witnesses that they spotted the man with the mask traveling north on Highway 171.

Three witnesses told law enforcement that the vehicle pulled along side of their vehicle, and inside the man wearing the mask held up a gun.

Officers managed to track down the suspect's vehicle at a business on Billy Goat Hill. The suspect was identified at Bradley Lane Mock, 21.

Officers found Mock's mask, as well as an M-4 style air soft rifle.

Mock was arrested and charged with terrorizing. Bond has been set at $50,000.
