The City of Pineville has announced that the Wardville Community and 22 homes in College Park Subdivision are without water due to a major break in a water main near 301 Bragg Street.

According to Pineville Chief of Staff Rich Dupree, approximately 750 to 800 water customers are being affected starting at the Macfarland Cascade Creosote Plant to the furthest limits of the Wardville Community.

Crews are working to restore water service as soon as possible.

Once water is restored, a boil advisory will be in place until the water is tested.

Until further notice, Bragg Street is closed to thru traffic from Highway 107 to Wadley Street. Local traffic is strongly encouraged to use Wadley Street to access the Lakeside/Wardville Community.
