This new location, which will be located in Long Farm Village, will offer the same authentic and delectable wood-fired pizza experience as the award-winning flagship location in Alexandria. Wildwood Pizza Partners Gary Perkins, Lee Gwin, Vivian Perkins, and Garrett Perkins also have plans to expand to Lake Charles in 2019.
Wildwood Pizza’s Alexandria location was recently named the best pizzeria in Louisiana by TripAdvisor.
Gary Perkins said, “We are excited by the opportunity to expand and share the Wildwood difference with the people of Baton Rouge – delicious authentic wood-fired crusts topped with the finest ingredients! With that, we’d like to officially extend our invitation to join us in May at the Baton Rouge location.”
Wildwood Pizza is the host of “Pizza for a Purpose.” Every Tuesday, Wildwood Pizza gives back to the community through this exclusive program with 10 percent of all sales going to local non-profit organizations. Thus far, the pizzeria has raised more than $20,000 for community organizations in the Alexandria area and the company is excited to do the same for local Baton Rouge organizations when they arrive in May.
