According to WVUE in New Orleans, a woman from Terrebonne Parish was arrested after she fired a stun gun on a victim and severely scratched a police officer's arm.

The Thibodaux Police Department said that on January 14, around 2:15 a.m., Nadira Tardieff, 37, of Schriever, was seen yelling at a person inside a vehicle parked by a motel.

As officers tried to calm Tardieff down, she refused to cooperate and was arrested. During her escort to the police car, she dug her fingernails into an officer's arm, tearing the skin.

Tardieff admitted to scratching the officer on purpose, saying they were "lucky that was all she did".

Police later learned that Tardieff had attacked the person in the vehicle prior to her arrest, while they were in her motel room.

It was learned that she struck and stunned the victim multiple times in various places, including the genitalia.

Police recovered a pink stun gun after the arrest. Tardieff is being held on a $21,000 bond.
