#1 Generals still an unfinished product

ALEXANDRIA (KALB) -- Pretty much every team in the NAIA would kill to be in the position that the LSUA men's basketball team is with 10 games left in the regular season. The Generals currently sit alone atop the Red River Athletic Conference standings, first place in the NAIA top 25 and are in the midst of a season-best 10-game winning streak.

Even still, head coach Larry Cordaro wants to see his team find an even higher gear as they get set to enter the home stretch of the season. That starts on Thursday as the Generals welcome to The Fort the only RRAC team that has gotten the best of them this season, Jarvis Christian. Tip-off for that game is set to begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game, which starts at 5 p.m.
