ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Meet our Week 6 Athlete of the Week finalists!

Our first finalist is Tre Brass, who is the heart of the Peabody Warhorse defense. Brass finished last week with 12 tackles and three forced fumbles, two of them being touchdowns in their win over Buckeye.

"I don't really know how to express my excitement,' Brass said. 'I'm a playmaker on defense, so I'm going to continue to make plays."

The next finalist, alongside Tre, is his teammate Arthur Lavalais. Lavalais had a huge game that saw him rushing for 95 yards, on 18 carries, for four touchdowns. Along with that, he had 45 yards on four catches.

"It feels good," Lavalais said. "My season was cut short last yeas so to get any notoriety feels good."

Finally, our third finalist is Tioga's running back, Trey Logan. Logan rattled off a huge stat line himself with 30 carries for 211 yards and three touchdowns.

"I've been working hard. It's like I spoke it into existence, so I guess that's one for the books," Logan said.
