CENLA Takes Over SPE Elite Camp
The best of the best came from all over the country to participate in the annual SPE Elite football camp, but the highlight was the CENLA studs that got invited!
"I dominated," Leesville's 185-pound strong man winner, Joseph Auzenne said.
"I'm just trying to help show that Louisiana is the best state with the best prospects here," Caleb Gallashaw said.
Founder, Taiwan Mixon, created the SPE Elite Camp in order to promote national competition and showcase as much talent as possible whether you have offers or not.
Players from Hawaii, Texas, California, Georgia and Lousiana were all in attendance.
"It's all about the people and making it about the kids,"Taiwan Mixon said. "That's all that matters," he added.
"I got pretty close with one of the coaches who played for the Saints, and he taught me a lot," ASH quarterback Judd Barton said. "I have good footwork, but I need to work on the angle of my elbow to get a better release," he added.
"This camp helped me get the exposure I needed for sure because I've slept on the past few years," ASH wide-receiver Derrald Moor Jr. said.
"There was a lot of talent here, but we were right there with them," Judd Barton said.
