CTK: Bolton looks to take step up

ALEXANDRIA (KALB) -- Since Mark Teague took over the Bolton football program three years ago, the mantra has been "change the culture." That remains the case in 2018, but for the first time, Teague really feels like his team can take a big step this season, because for the first time, he has some continuity,

Six seniors assume leadership of an otherwise young Bears squad. Running back Ken Molette who is expected to get a large amount carries out the backfield after deferring to Terrence Garnett last season.

Fellow senior Robert Wrighten will be opening up running lanes for Molette on the offensive, as well as commanding the Bears front 7 at middle linebacker. He has been a vocal presence at practice urging his younger teammates to get better each and every day.

Bolton opens the 2018 season on August 31 with a home game against Holy Savior Menard.
