NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - The Northwestern State Demons have a solid group on the offensive line that sets the tone of the offense.
Led by the senior class of Dustin Burns, Johnathan Hubbard, and Chris Zirkle, the Demons look to take even bigger steps than the previous season.
Last year, the big boys helped NSU to throw for a team record of 3,530 yards passing. Coach Laird only has great things to say about the group.
"It starts up front on both sides of the ball,” Laird said. “Offensively, our four seniors have been a catalyst to the direction we want to go as a team and as an offense. Those guys have done a great job in stepping up on the field and in their leadership.”
