GOTW: Buckeye look to snap losing streak against rival Eagles

DEVILLE (KALB) -- After asserting its dominance in a 49-0 win over Block to open the season, the Buckeye Panthers now hope to ride that momentum back on the road this Friday at Holy Savior Menard. Having fallen to their rival for the last five years, Jonathan Landry's Panthers feel that now, more than ever, they are equipped to finally come out on the winning side.

In a 21-13 loss to Menard last season, Landry blamed a slow start for the defeat and is urging his team this year to not let that happen for a second year in a row. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. on Friday at Holy Savior Menard and is KALB's 5th Quarter Game of the Week.
