MARKSVILLE (KALB) -- The Marksville Tigers are on the road this Friday for a crucial District 3-3A matchup against the Jena Giants. For the Tigers, it's been almost like looking in the mirror as they study the Giants' style of play.

"We are both very similar, very similar styles of play," said Head Coach J.T. Dunbar. "They wanna run the football, we wanna run the football. We run similar offenses, almost the same offenses. It should be a fun one Friday night."

The Tigers will be trying to enact their revenge against the Giants, a team that defeated them 33-14 a year ago as the Giants went on to win the District 3-3A championship. The Tigers would end up finished in a three-way tie for second place.
