PINE PRAIRIE (KALB) -- After a lot to build off of from a successful showing at the Evangeline Parish Jamboree, the Pine Prairie Panthers hope to take that momentum into their week one matchup at Tioga. Head coach Yves Prince wanted a class 4A team on the schedule for power points purposes, but also to give his players an early test. Prince noting that his defense is his team's strength, but that the unit can't do it alone if the Panthers have upset on the mind. Panther practices this week have circled ball security on offense as the biggest thing to improve on.

The Panthers and Indians face off on Friday night and is KALB's Fifth Quarter Game of the Week.
