ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB Sports) -- The No. 14 LSUA Generals hosted the William Carey Crusaders (RV) Thursday night at the Fort, aiming to defend their 45-0 record and to win their second-to-last game before the holiday break.

LSUA was led by seniors Brandon Moss with 23 points and Jordin Williams with 18. Sophomore Chris Vickers added 17 points while junior William Claiborne posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

All of Claiborne's rebounds came in the first half, and he finished the game just 5 short of the single-game rebound record.

William Carey was led by Adrian Williams with 16 points and Jaylen Moore and Peyton Owen with 11 points each.

The Generals will travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to face the Crusaders for a second time on Saturday. That matchup will be their final one before the holiday break until Jan. 5 against Wiley College.
