ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A state champion and a state runner-up with a 10-1 record on the mound is the type of player that Cedarville University will get in Grace Christian’s Jimmy Miller.
Miller signed with the Division II school out of Dayton, OH on Tuesday, saying that it all came down to whether the school he chose would let him play baseball and get a Christian education.
Miller is the 18th player from Grace Christian to sign a letter of intent since 2007.
"I'm just lost for words," Miller said. "I never thought this would happen, but I'm in a place where I get to pursue my dream, get to do what I love and play basketball at the next level. I just want to thank all the players, the coaches that have coached me, my parents, and God. He's the real reason that I'm here because he's blessed me with my abilities. My parents have put in the time and effort to allow me to get here, where I'm at."
