ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Before we reveal the winner of the ACA Athlete of the Week, here is a look at our three finalists.
This is a rare breed of athletes that just so happen to all play the same position.
First up is Andrew Frazier out of Pineville. He's been one of the most consistent pieces on the offense for the Rebels, and he wants to keep leading them to wins.
“I wouldn't have the success on the field without my offensive line,” Frazier said. “I want to thank them for doing the right assignments and making the right blocks.”
Heading to Grant Parish, there's Mikel Auge. He likes to run things on both sides of the ball and consistently making defenses look silly.
“I put in work every day,” Auge said. “My team motivates me to go hard, and I do it for them. Everyone block for me and that's how I bust those big plays.”
Finally, there is Marksville's Daniel Miller, who played quarterback in 2018. No, he’s taking handoffs from John Small. He’s coming off of a game that saw him carry the ball 25 times for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns.
“Everything just seemed to build-up starting at the beginning of that week,” Miller said. “Everything that we talked about, it was just about going out there and competing for my team so that we can get the win.”
Tune in to Nightside to find out who the winner is.
