Finding themselves struggling on both sides of the ball, the Wildcats played one of the more physical teams in the American Southwest Conference.

Head coach Justin Charles said he is planning to get back to the drawing board to mend what's been missing:

We didn't execute or win because we didn't execute. Our overall game plan we felt was right on par with what we needed to get done but hats off to Hardin-Simmons. They're number seven in the country for a reason. We had a long discussion yesterday during our stretch and stride. Our kids understand that it's going back to the basics now. We lost a little bit of focus here and there from three weeks ago. We all have to gather. That's myself included.
